ACADEMIC PROJECT

How can we meet the evolving expectations of lottery players while leveraging the potential of a multichannel experience?

La Française des Jeux (FDJ) is the French national lottery operator, known for its scratch cards, draw games, and sports betting. In this academic project, our challenge was to rethink the experience for traditional scratch card players in a way that feels both fresh and accessible.




We focused on bridging the gap between physical and digital experiences by designing a FDJ Game Box – a purchasable product available at all FDJ retail locations. This box would offer a playful, community-driven experience, encouraging players to enjoy lottery games in a shared, gamified format.

Our goal was to attract long-time scratch card users by introducing a new type of engagement, while maintaining the brand’s core identity and values.

All visuals were designed and prototyped on Figma.
