Data Visualization & Dashboard Design
How can we help care home managers make better operational decisions through user-centered data visualization?
Korian is a leading European provider of care services for the elderly, managing a large network of nursing homes and medical facilities. In this academic project, our team was tasked with designing a dashboard interface for EHPAD (French long-term care facilities) directors to help them better understand and manage their residents' profiles, life cycles, and facility operations.
We conducted research to understand the daily needs and challenges faced by care home managers, focusing on how data could support their decision-making. Based on these insights, we created a dashboard that offers:
- A clear overview of patient profiles and lifecycle stages
- Key indicators related to health status, administrative processes, and capacity
-Actionable data to support strategic planning and improve care coordination
The visual design emphasized clarity, accessibility, and efficiency, ensuring the tool would be intuitive even for non-technical users.
The dashboard was designed and prototyped using Figma, with a strong focus on UX principles and data storytelling.
